Associate Vice President, Health Sciences Academic Operations and Strategy

Dr. Alison Jones serves as the associate vice president for Health Sciences Academic Operations and Strategy.  Dr. Jones is responsible for providing support for the Health Sciences Schools and College and strategic leadership to the Office of Academic Operations, Division for Academic Success, and Division for Student Engagement and Impact. 

Educational Background

Dr. Jones completed her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and her M.P.A and Ed.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University. 

Professional Background

Dr. Jones began her career in higher education when she joined VCU in 2011 as the manager of the MCV Campus Student Services Center. She later worked with the School of Pharmacy as the Manager of Student Services and Admissions and joined the Office of the Senior Vice President for Health Sciences in 2007.
